Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or general equivalent education (GED)
  • Completion of all required training for current role within required timeframe
  • 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
  • Work flexible schedules including early morning and evening shifts according to store needs and operating hours; two closing shifts per week and four weekend shifts per month are required at a minimum (e.g., consistently four Saturday OR Sunday shifts each month equating to a total of four weekend shifts per month; scheduled a Saturday and Sunday)

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a healthy talent pipeline, including oversight of front store and cross-trained colleague performance and development, contributing to career progression, involving hiring, training, performance management, and where required, termination of employment
  • Ensure appropriate staffing to operate store successfully by scheduling to demand, consistently creating and publishing the schedule 3 weeks in advance, and maintaining financial stewardship of store labor spending
  • Improve store performance measures (sales, service, loyalty, shrink, compliance, etc.) by coaching colleagues and working within the #OneTeam dynamic to identify and address barriers to operation
  • Maintain a safe and high-quality working environment that complies with all regulatory and company standards
  • Oversee timely and quality training of front store and cross-trained colleagues
  • Conduct regular check-ins with all direct reports to track business goals and maintain team engagement
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with Rx DL, Pharmacy Manager, pharmacy team and any other in-store teams (e.g., Minute Clinic, etc.) to foster a #OneTeam mentality and support a holistic total store staffing pipeline
  • Partner with FS DL to establish store priorities, implement new initiatives, and engage all colleagues
  • Act as an ambassador for CVS Health through professional behaviors and positive engagement within the community
  • Demonstrate CVS Health’s Heart At Work behaviors, HelpingWithHeart Actions, and lead the team to do the same through effective communication, consistent application of SOPs and best practices, and provisioning of appropriate support to all departments
