Responsibilities

  • Sell storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts
  • Seek out new opportunities by expanding and enhancing existing ones
  • Develop pursuit plans and build/manage the storage sales pipeline
  • Contribute to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through knowledge transfer in storage
  • Support Account Managers with technical expertise in client engagements
  • Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene with stakeholders
  • Maintain healthy pipeline and account plans using internal sales tools
  • Collaborate across HPE teams for consistent business development and account planning
  • Assess solution feasibility to determine qualify-in/qualify-out status
  • Negotiate profitable deals to expand opportunities and increase revenue/footprint
  • Drive sales of the Storage portfolio through prospecting, negotiation, and closing
  • Establish professional, consultative relationships with clients
  • Interface with internal/external experts to anticipate needs and develop solutions
  • Work with channel partners to forge relationships, enable technologies, and co-sell
  • Lead, evangelize, and coordinate Storage marketing campaigns aligned with account strategy
  • Act as trusted storage solutions consultant for accounts/region
  • Reinforce HPE's strategy/portfolio to partners/champions to uncover new opportunities
