Requirements

  • Extremely curious and love chasing the “why, why, why” to deeply understand user issues and obsess over creative ways to solve them
  • 8+ years of building SaaS products for Enterprise customers (startup experience preferred), with experience building for different clients (Chrome extensions, Windows/Mac apps)
  • Appreciate the craft of building products; quickly build credibility with design and engineering counterparts through deep understanding of and respect for their disciplines
  • Care about the details; pride yourself on delivering the best end-to-end user experience and never say “that’s not my job” or “that’s not my problem”
  • Deeply understand the customer; become the go-to person for your product area and can talk extensively about business and user questions
  • Outcomes over output; thrive on owning a company-level OKR and driving towards impact rather than just following processes and frameworks
  • Highly collaborative; recognize that your team amplifies your impact, so excited to inspire and uplevel your team
  • Think big and deliver incrementally; love dreaming of “big ideas,” but balance with incrementally shipping value to users at high velocity
  • Have a strong POV; discern good products from great, and stakeholders rely on you to represent the customer and market
  • Thrive in autonomy; enjoy shaping the product, identifying problems, defining the roadmap, and defending decisions with calculated trade-offs
  • Strong bias for action; help up-level the Product function with learnings from prior experience
  • Able to be in the SF office 3 days/week

  • Partnering closely with Engineering and Design to drive every project from ideation to launch in a way that pushes the quality bar for the product

  • Measuring the impact of every release and using data-powered insights to inform and improve future bets (leave the ‘feature factory’ mindset at the door)
  • Owning one of the company’s most ambitious goals: driving up Scribe creations with new users
