The ability to maintain and improve a large codebase, ensuring stability, scalability, and maintainability, along with strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and excellent communication skills for remote collaboration are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure features for the Keeper Browser Extension using JavaScript, React, Redux, and Jest. They will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver the best possible user experience. Responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards for coding practices, such as test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit tests with Jest, and participating in code reviews. The engineer will continuously analyze, improve, and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the browser extension, review and improve the current codebase by fixing bugs and implementing new features, and actively engage in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge. They will also keep up to date with the latest trends in web development, browser extensions, and cybersecurity, and help identify areas for process improvement and technical debt resolution.
