Requirements

Candidates must have at least 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within a professional services organization, with experience overseeing large billable projects for external customers. Experience with modern services deployment methodologies, emphasizing software design and development, and proficiency with formal project management tools are required. A passion for web-based technologies, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with CxO-level personnel are essential. A Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, CS, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education is necessary. Lean or Six Sigma certification is desirable, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel periodically (up to 20-30%). 1+ years of Smartsheet Consulting experience, leading enterprise-level customer-facing engagements, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Project Manager will manage all aspects of technical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships. They will drive the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Smartsheet implementations. This role involves proactively identifying and managing project risks and issues, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders, and acting as a liaison between the customer and the technical team. Responsibilities include ensuring engagements conclude with satisfied clients, handling multiple strategic engagements simultaneously, and mitigating critical customer concerns. The manager will ensure quality and time management processes are followed, help document best practices, and liaise with internal Smartsheet teams.
