Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably technical, in safety, EH&S, QA, environmental science, or science. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required, ideally in safety products or controlled environment products, or an equivalent industry background. Responsibilities

The Sr Safety Specialist will be responsible for selling Fisher Safety’s products and services within a defined territory, focusing on petrochemical, industrial, electronics, and medical device customers. This role involves maintaining effective customer relations, identifying growth opportunities within the existing customer base, and ensuring market penetration and profitability to meet sales and profit forecasts. Key duties include providing safety-specific information and product recommendations to sales representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, performing hazard assessments, delivering product training, researching competitor activity, managing territory pricing for profitability, maintaining accurate records, communicating customer issues to supervisors, informing customers of supply and price trends, and positively representing Thermo Fisher Scientific.
