A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required, ideally in safety products or controlled environment products, or an equivalent industry background. Knowledge of safety and cleanroom standards is an asset, along with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. A solid understanding of CRM systems like SalesForce.com is necessary, as are organizational skills for multitasking and meeting deadlines. A strong industry, pharmaceutical, and science background is preferred, and the ability and willingness to travel to customer locations are essential.
The Sr Safety Specialist will be responsible for selling Fisher Safety’s products and services within a defined territory, focusing on petrochemical, industrial, electronics, and medical device customers. This role involves maintaining effective customer relations, identifying growth opportunities within the existing customer base, and ensuring market penetration and profitability to meet sales and profit forecasts.
