Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They should have hands-on experience with systems engineering methodologies such as the V Model, requirements documentation, and V&V, along with experience generating safety artifacts like Hazard Analyses (HARAs), FMEAs, FTAs, and STPAs. Functional safety and SOTIF basic experience is preferred, and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools like Python or SQL is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Safety & Systems Engineer will design, analyze, and perform Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous vehicle system architecture, working with cross-functional teams to develop autonomous driving systems and construct a safety case. They will also define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering, develop data collection and analysis pipelines, define safety goals and requirements, create and manage requirements documentation, and shape system behaviors for critical safety scenarios. Furthermore, they will identify and communicate risks, coordinate solutions and mitigations, establish and oversee rigorous engineering standards, and craft a pioneering safety framework for autonomous airside driving, while also being open to 25% travel.
