Requirements

The Data Architect should possess 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, with strong proficiency in enterprise architecture and data software engineering, and experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. They should have a deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data stack tools, including BigQuery, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Fivetran, along with knowledge of master data management, data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and security best practices. Furthermore, they must be fluent in designing and working with various data types, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and adept at implementing operational monitoring and alerting.

Responsibilities

The Data Architect will design and evolve PartnerStack’s data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, and long-term sustainability; define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices; architect and implement data pipelines, integrations, and orchestration frameworks; lead the design of data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, cataloging, and access control policies; collaborate with engineering teams to define data contracts and schemas; evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the data platform’s performance and developer experience; provide architectural guidance on GenAI and ML initiatives; partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions; lead architectural reviews and mentor data engineers and analysts; and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and system integrations.
