Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

We are looking for a world-class MDM Engineer to lead our mobile device management (MDM) strategy and operations across a global enterprise. You will be the primary expert in VMware Workspace ONE and will drive the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions across iOS, Android, and other mobile platforms.

This role is a critical part of CrowdStrike’s global IT and endpoint engineering function and plays a key role in ensuring that our mobile devices are secure, compliant, and enable productivity without friction. You will collaborate across Security, IT, Compliance, and user support teams – living CrowdStrike’s One Team, One Fight value every day.

Responsibilities

  • Own MDM and MAM platforms: Lead the implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of Workspace ONE UEM for CrowdStrike’s mobile device fleet, including policy enforcement, profile management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Secure mobile endpoints: Design and maintain policies for device encryption, passcode enforcement, remote wipe, app whitelisting/blacklisting, and conditional access – across iOS, Android, and other supported devices.
  • Mobile Application Management: Package, deploy, and manage internal and 3rd-party mobile applications using Workspace ONE’s MAM capabilities. Ensure apps are deployed securely, updated regularly, and function reliably.
  • Support mobile users: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for mobile device and application issues. Ensure a seamless onboarding and user experience across platforms, while meeting compliance and security objectives.
  • Integrate with IAM and security platforms: Ensure tight integration of MDM with SSO (Okta), endpoint detection tools (such as CrowdStrike Falcon), and mobile threat defense (MTD) solutions.
  • Policy compliance and reporting: Monitor device compliance, generate dashboards/reports, and work with InfoSec and Audit to demonstrate alignment with organizational policy.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Evaluate emerging MDM technologies, stay current on mobile OS updates, and partner with global peers to continuously improve CrowdStrike’s mobile device strategy and operations.
  • Document and automate: Create and maintain documentation of processes, workflows, and policies. Automate repetitive MDM tasks and enrollment processes wherever possible using scripts or native tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise mobile devices and applications, with strong expertise in Workspace ONE UEM (Workspace ONE Admin certification is a plus).
  • Advanced knowledge of Omnissa Workspace ONE platform and its components.
  • In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android enterprise mobility features, including enrollment modes, supervision, managed apps, app configuration, and device compliance.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Google Enterprise, and integration into Workspace ONE.
  • Deep understanding of MDM and MAM policies, including security hardening, user profiles, certificate-based authentication.
