Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of professional hands-on software development experience. Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native is required, as well as demonstrated experience in developing, shipping, and maintaining complex mobile applications. Familiarity with Swift and Kotlin is also sought.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will design and implement software solutions for a robust mobile platform using React Native and Golang, ensuring code is highly maintainable and unit testable. Responsibilities include supporting software development and architecture best practices, contributing to technical team strategy and roadmap, and making significant architectural and operational decisions. The engineer will identify and solve design and technology issues, collaborate with other teams to define API contracts, ensure performance and scale, maintain high code quality, create software architecture documentation, support engineering teams with code reviews, design team tooling and processes, and provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers.
