Requirements

Candidates should possess strong skills in financial analysis, management strategy, product management, and researching. Experience in business casing, storytelling, analytical rigor, competitive and industry research, and financial analysis including P&L building is essential. The role also requires the ability to act as an individual contributor and a people leader, with consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning will inform strategies for current Xfinity businesses and new opportunities through internal development, partnerships, or M&A. Responsibilities include conducting special studies on operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, and cost containment. They will identify, evaluate, and recommend M&A opportunities, support transaction execution, and assist with post-merger integration. The role involves communicating with potential business partners, interpreting business analysis like cash-flow and forecast analysis, and communicating results to senior management. They will direct and participate in projects for environmental scans and organizational positioning, create economic analysis and business models, and develop, mentor, and train the Strategic Planning team while monitoring departmental goals and participating in performance evaluations. The employee will also make business-impacting decisions and perform other assigned duties.
