The Sr. Manager of Paid Media Buyer requires ownership and leadership of the paid acquisition strategy across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Applovin, and Tapjoy, along with the ability to work closely with a junior media buyer to execute and optimize campaigns effectively. This role necessitates a deep understanding of campaign management, manual bidding, A/B testing, creative analysis, and a proven record of managing large daily budgets and scaling META accounts profitably, as well as the ability to leverage tools like Northbeam, Triple Whale, or similar to attribute revenue and optimize ad spend. Furthermore, it demands a mastery of campaign strategy, creative iteration, and performance analysis, paired with a deep understanding of consumer psychology and scalable acquisition systems, and the ability to stay on the cutting edge of media buying trends, especially in mobile-first and performance-driven ad platforms.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager of Paid Media Buyer will be responsible for designing and running creative testing frameworks, partnering closely with the creative team to generate high-performing ads, and identifying winning angles, as well as overseeing daily campaign operations including manual bidding, audience targeting, and budget allocation to hit aggressive CAC and ROAS targets. They will also be expected to develop and present insights, forecasts, and growth plans to leadership based on data-driven performance analysis, and manage monthly budgets in the high six to seven figures with the discipline to scale profitably.
