Candidates should possess a life sciences or science background, preferably with application experience in Human Identification, and proven experience in the life science industry, specifically with Human Identification and working with distributors. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, presentation and organizational skills, and MS Office knowledge are required. Availability to travel within the Central region (50-70%) is also necessary.
The Sr Key Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships with customers, including distributors, purchasing, and end users, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and ensure their satisfaction. They will present to laboratory clients and other departments, resolve issues, and break barriers, generate new sales leads, implement sales strategies, and analyze sales performance, achieve sales and profit forecasts, and meet annual operating targets. The role involves identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, shaping business plans to drive growth, maintaining records and updating CRM systems, preparing reports, managing time, researching competitors and industry activity, keeping informed of new products and services, responding to customer questions, taking orders, and providing solutions, making sales calls to customers and potential customers, including key opinion leaders, and leading customer calls, working within a defined territory and growing it, working with cross-functional teams, implementing marketing campaigns, discovering target markets, handling budgets, and ensuring brand consistency.
