As a leader in the Smart Home industry, we have a significant IoT install base with innovative products powered by our myQ digital ecosystem. This role is within the Sales function, focused on growing business within assigned accounts or territories and selling professional line products to installing dealers and distributors. The successful candidate will develop strong customer relationships, understand the market dynamics, and provide customer feedback to product teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales volume growth in assigned accounts or territories according to the company plan.
  • Develop sales forecasts and assess territory potentials.
  • Sell Professional Line products to installing dealers and distributors in a prescribed territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all customers in an assigned territory.
  • Fully understand the market dynamics, including competition, new opportunities, and threats.
  • Provide customer feedback to product teams through appropriate channels.
  • Manage account management for new Commercial/Perimeter accounts as assigned.
  • Understand client businesses to become a trusted advisor.
  • Support the retail channel in the assigned area as needed.
  • Facilitate quote management and order fulfillment.
  • Manage partner relationships to enhance solution capabilities and customer value.
  • Execute merchandising and advertising programs.
  • Conduct training and product presentations for small and large groups.
  • Conduct customer training presentations on product and selling skills.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range: $68,900 - $111,200
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401k contribution (subject to eligibility requirements)
  • Eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan
