Develop and manage global/regional commodity strategies
Negotiate key supplier contracts
Ensure commodity plan deliverables meet designed strategies
Create (electrical) RFQ packages and analyze/score suppliers
Negotiate and award suppliers meeting GSM commodity strategy and policy
Hold kick-off meetings with awarded suppliers and support APQP management
Release tooling POs and manage supplier tooling documents
Enter related data to ERP system and issue prototype, PPAP orders, and Blanket POs
Manage supplier changes during development and mass production
Verify supplier capacity to meet program volume requirements
Finalize agreement Terms & Conditions (freight, payment terms, currency, etc.)
