Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a professional insurance designation, and at least five years’ experience in Account Management, demonstrating proficiency in insurance market conditions and carrier underwriting appetites. They must also maintain all required licenses as mandated by the State Department of Insurance, and be willing to obtain them within the first 90 days of employment.
The Sr. Client Manager assists in coordinating carrier relationships on behalf of the company by leading the service team on large accounts, developing initial placement/renewal strategies, performing marketing activities for large accounts, preparing risk maps, coordinating service delivery, completing special projects, and identifying opportunities to improve firm processes. They will also bring issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership, serve as a mentor to new colleagues, and demonstrate effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications, while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and potentially traveling for business.
