Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience, with a minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience. Fluency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and communication, is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in sales account management, the healthcare industry (specifically eye care pharmaceutical or medical device fields), technical learning agility, a high-energy and self-starting attitude, result orientation, a willingness to challenge the status quo, excellent communication and negotiation skills, self-control, self-confidence, reliability, strong business acumen, organization skills, and a valid category B driving license.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Associate, Pharmaceutical Sales will be responsible for covering a large territory in Northern Virginia, focusing on a defined target list of physicians and practitioners. Key duties include building disease awareness, collaborating on prior authorization and reimbursement, managing the sales budget, developing impactful territory plans, employing business planning and local market knowledge, growing relationships with partners and communities, implementing compliant programs, visiting all customers according to their importance, managing accounts for sales and development, developing relations with customers and opinion leaders, participating in meetings and events, establishing and presenting action plans to achieve sales targets, planning and tracking account metrics, staying informed on market evolution, coordinating trainings and product presentations, and prospecting for new accounts and growth opportunities.
