Requirements

Candidates must possess a life science degree or equivalent, be fluent in English, and have an established sales history with a proven track record in bioprocessing or a related field. Existing knowledge of upstream and downstream groups within key biopharmaceutical accounts in Ireland is desirable, along with a good basis to develop strong technical skills in areas such as Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins and Monoclonal antibodies, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with designated accounts. Strong analytical skills and experience using a CRM system like Salesforce.com are also required.

Responsibilities

The Sr Account Manager will be responsible for developing and growing the robust Bioproduction market in Ireland, reporting to the Director, Sales for Northern Europe, and managing the entire Bioproduction portfolio. They will lead Key Accounts with key influencers, create and implement a Strategic Sales Plan, go for sales opportunities, work closely with the Field Applications group, provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting, and collaborate with other teams to deliver vital details of new proposals to customers. The role also involves using judgement and prioritization to bring in the appropriate resources to drive sales objectives and understanding customers’ manufacturing processes to provide perspective on improvements.
