Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new client contacts. They must be able to qualify opportunities, define solutions, and recommend pricing structures to meet strategic company goals, and serve as the primary contact until project completion, coordinating with relevant business areas for successful implementation. Additionally, candidates should act as a liaison between business units and PPD CRG on all business development activities and requirements, ensuring client satisfaction through regular contact and addressing any dissatisfaction.

Responsibilities

The Sr Account Director, Business Development will drive client account strategy and development through strategic and tactical account planning, collaborate with sales operations, finance, and legal functions to achieve sales authorization targets, secure and retain business for PPD through proactive sales activities, qualify deals, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts. They will also orchestrate RFP strategy calls, prepare client presentations, make cold calls and client visits, maintain sales databases, and ensure client satisfaction by maintaining contact and addressing concerns. Furthermore, the role involves gathering data on marketing trends and competitive products/services and pricing, and acting as a liaison between Evidera business units and PPD CRG on all business development activities and requirements.
