Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Experiential Design, or a related creative field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a creative leadership role, with a strong focus on retail design, visual merchandising, or experiential marketing
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing innovative and successfully executed spatial design projects (retail stores, pop-ups, large-scale events). Evidence of integrated digital elements and bespoke activation content within these projects is essential
  • Demonstrated experience directing creative teams and managing complex projects from concept through to completion
  • Strong understanding of how to translate brand strategy into physical and digital experiences
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and video content production pipelines is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Hong Kong

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive creative strategy for all physical brand expressions, including retail store design, visual merchandising, window displays, pop-up shops, and brand activations
  • Lead the conceptualisation of immersive environments that tell a compelling brand story and engage customers in new and unexpected ways
  • Oversee the entire design process from initial concept and mood boarding to vendor selection, material sourcing, and final installation
  • Champion the integration of digital elements within physical spaces, including interactive displays, video walls, AR-driven activations, and other emerging technologies
  • Spearhead the creative direction and production of all activation-specific content, including AR filters for social sharing, interactive screen experiences, and dynamic video loops for in-store displays
  • Direct the creation of motion graphics, animations, and video content specifically designed for in-store and event environments to create a dynamic and modern atmosphere
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure a cohesive journey from online campaigns to in-person experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Identify skill gaps and champion the development of new competencies within the team, particularly in experiential and digital design
