Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in B2B pre-sales solutions engineering, technical sales, or technical consulting, preferably within SaaS, ecommerce, or Salesforce ecosystems. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of web components (browsers, APIs, webhooks, servers) and front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Excellent communication and customer-facing skills are also required.
The Solutions Engineer will become an expert on Loop's platform, providing technical support to Sales, Post Sales, and Partner teams. They will vet and close deals from a technical perspective, create customized product demos and proofs-of-concept, and present solutions to internal and external audiences. Responsibilities also include answering questions about APIs, webhooks, and integrations, partnering with merchants and agencies to scope solutions, training Sales teams on technical aspects, and collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design to improve the platform.
