Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical consulting, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role, ideally within a SaaS company; or applicable industry experience. They must possess advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and proposals for both business and technical audiences. Familiarity with aggregating technical discovery information to compose Business Cases (inclusive of ROI) driven by value solving for articulated business pain is also required.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Consultant will provide day-to-day product expertise during the sales process, directly interfacing with the sales team and prospective customers. They will prepare and present comprehensive platform demonstrations to large enterprises, conduct deep technical discovery to connect Fleetio’s solution with customer needs, detect technical and functional objections, and serve as the market expert on products, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Additionally, they will own RFP/RFI’s, collaborate on the pilot process, strategize with other customer-facing functions to prioritize feedback for the product roadmap, and increase knowledge of solution architectures across the sales engineering community, while also evangelizing Fleetio solutions through compelling storytelling.
