Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role, with a university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are required, along with a strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to BI and analytics tools. Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics, proficiency in implementing data security measures, access controls, and design within the Snowflake platform, and extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology are essential. Software development experience with Python, Java, Spark, and other scripting languages is also required.
The Solutions Architect will be a technical expert on Snowflake, presenting its technology and vision to customers' executives and technical contributors, and positioning themselves as a Trusted Advisor to key stakeholders. They will drive project teams to accelerate the adoption of Snowflake solutions, demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology through demos, proof-of-concepts, workshops, design sessions, and implementation, and create repeatable processes and documentation. Responsibilities include collaborating on and creating industry-based solutions, deploying Snowflake following best practices with knowledge transfer, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, working with System Integrator consultants at a deep technical level, and positioning and selling the value of Snowflake professional services for ongoing delivery.
