The Solutions Architect must have 8 years of enterprise software development experience and 5 years working with Digital Web/Mobile and/or Cloud based platforms as a developer or architect. Expertise in design patterns, algorithms, and data modeling is required, along with working knowledge of servers, storage, networks, and high availability systems. Proven competency in designing and developing multi-tiered enterprise systems and understanding of SDLC methodologies (agile and waterfall) are necessary. Fluency in Java, JavaScript, Web and Mobile platforms, IoT platforms, Low Code/No Code platforms, Salesforce.com, and/or service-based integration frameworks is essential, as is an understanding of Enterprise Services principles like SOA and API architecture. An analytical mindset and the ability to match technical solutions to project goals are also key qualifications.
The Solutions Architect will provide technical leadership for multiple software development projects, focusing on digital platforms. They will serve as a technical advisor to senior IT management and mentor junior technical staff. Responsibilities include developing lower-level solution designs following Enterprise Architecture guidelines, maintaining in-depth knowledge of business processes across digital, cloud, low code/no code, web/mobile, and customer experience domains, and evaluating proposed software development projects for feasibility and impact. The role involves providing technical direction to both on-shore and off-shore teams, researching and prototyping emerging technologies for business innovation and customer experience improvement, and contributing to business cases for product and service value propositions. The architect will maintain deep expertise in multiple technology areas, with a focus on the digital domain.
