Position Overview

Auria is seeking a DevOps Lead Architect to support the development of satellite ground systems. The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks, designing and implementing solutions for building, testing, and deploying containerized microservices in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing an automated deployment and testing solution for a cloud-built and on-premises deployed software factory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage multiple system deployments to isolated environments.
  • Enable high reliability of deployed services.
  • Develop a training plan to educate personnel on software development and deployment practices, fostering repeatable delivery processes.
  • Manage training and mentor software developers and DevOps engineers.

Requirements

  • Expertise: Software development and scalable deployment best practices.
  • Expertise: Development, dev monitoring, deployment, and sustainment of cloud-native services and software development at scale.
  • Experience: Kubernetes, manifests, Helm, and Kustomize.
  • Experience: Cloud and cloud certification (or obtain within 6 months).
  • Security Clearance: Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Trunk-based deployments using ArgoCD.
  • Gitlab metric reporting and Confluence integration.
