Candidates should have 5 to 6 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience. Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are required, along with extensive experience in large databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies. Hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics is essential, as well as the ability to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary, and proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
The Solution Engineer will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals at prospective customers. They will demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle using demos and proofs of concept. The role involves understanding the competitive landscape and related technologies to effectively position Snowflake. Collaboration with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to implement product improvements and marketing activities is also a key responsibility.
