The ideal candidate will have fluency in German (verbal and written), 2+ years of SaaS sales experience (preferably in security with a focus on SMB accounts) or be a top-performing BDR ready to advance, and experience managing a geographical territory or country within EMEA. A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and KPIs, strong skills in prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, solution-based selling, territory management, and meticulous pipeline management, forecasting, and pacing are essential. Proficiency in business acumen, negotiation, relationship building, and communication/presentation skills for C-suite interactions is required, along with the ability to articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are crucial. Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach is preferred, and fluency in French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus.
The SMB Account Executive will manage a territory targeting companies up to 1,000 employees, focusing on hunting new business opportunities, building sales pipeline, and driving growth within the SMB sector. Responsibilities include upselling into the existing account base by leveraging Extended Access Management Identity, owning and growing a designated geographical region or country within EMEA, and acquiring new SMB clients. The role involves building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging inbound leads and effective pipeline development in line with the sales methodology. Key duties include designing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, segmenting clients against Ideal Customer Profiles, developing customized messaging based on business context and decision-makers, consistent excellence in outbound sales, and ensuring high-quality discovery and scoping to maximize 1Password's value to the customer.
