Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Ideally with experience in big data cluster operation and maintenance
Proficient in at least one language: Python, Shell, Java
Familiar with Linux development environment and configuration, management, and optimization
Familiar with TCP/IP, HTTP, and other protocols
Good knowledge of network, security, database, and computer architecture

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain big data clusters (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Yarn, Spark, etc.)
Optimize cluster performance, including expansion and contraction
Monitor cluster performance, set up alarms
Handle cluster faults and implement recovery procedures
Implement and manage data backup solutions
Handle user problems and provide technical support
