Requirements

  • Ability to collaborate with team members on health and safety programs, site assessments, audits, risk analysis, and occupational health management plans
  • Capability to deliver comprehensive nursing care, including medical emergency response, prevention, treatment, follow-up for occupational injuries/illnesses, referrals, and medications
  • Knowledge of medical triage protocols, virtual screenings, confinement guidelines, and return-to-work (RTW) procedures
  • Familiarity with HR processes including FMLA, ADA Interactive Process, IRDT, Paid Parental Leave, disability, and worker’s compensation
  • Experience partnering with emergency response teams for basic and advanced life support
  • Understanding of local legal requirements and compliance with TSCA, SARA, OSHA, NIOSH, P&G Medical and Industrial Health & Safety standards
  • Skills in conducting/coordinating new hire post-offer health questionnaires (POHQ), physicals, and medical qualifications
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and administer medical testing programs (e.g., Hearing Tests, Motor Vehicle/MHE qualification, Respirator Physicals, Pulmonary Function Tests, Phlebotomy)
  • Proficiency in working with third-party vendors for health services
  • Current knowledge of site risks/hazards (chemical, biological, physical) and participation in risk assessments and chemical clearance/change management
  • Skills in health coaching, wellness programs, and building business acumen
  • Leadership in clinical operations, ensuring data confidentiality, privacy, and safety for occupational health records

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for ill and injured workers, including RTW assessments and fit-for-duty evaluations from medical leaves, disability, and worker’s compensation
  • Engage with site and regional medical resources for clinical activities, following triage protocols, virtual screenings, confinement guidelines, and RTW SOPs
  • Partner with HR on FMLA, ADA Interactive Process, IRDT, Paid Parental Leave, managing leaves of absence and RTW cases
  • Partner with site emergency response teams for quality, timely basic and advanced life support
  • Partner with HR, HSE to ensure compliance with occupational health aspects of local legal requirements and standards (TSCA, SARA, OSHA, NIOSH, P&G)
  • Conduct/coordinate new hire POHQ reviews, physicals, and medical qualifications
  • Deliver comprehensive occupational health medical monitoring and qualification programs, including Hearing Tests, MVE/MHE qualification, Respirator Physicals (PFTs, Phlebotomy)
  • Work with third-party vendors to facilitate health services programs
  • Attain/maintain knowledge of site risks/hazards and participate in reviews, risk assessments, chemical clearance, and change management
  • Provide Health Coaching to optimize employee health and well-being
  • Act as active member of site HR team as occupational health expert, collaborating with HR and business partners
  • Act as active member of site Wellbeing teams, championing wellness programs and serving as Health Coach
  • Ensure optimal clinical operations as leader of site Health Center and deliver quality care
  • Ensure data confidentiality, privacy, and safety for occupational health records
