Requirements

  • Minimum MBO level 3 (Dutch Vocational Education and Training) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in service, preferably in Rail
  • Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus
  • Initiative-taking, customer-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to work standby shifts (1 weekend per month and 1 day per week, including outside normal working hours)
  • Willingness to work throughout the Randstad region
  • On-site availability in the Randstad region

Responsibilities

  • Test and release installations or vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and functional requirements
  • Analyze complex failures
  • Participate in projects, maintenance, warranty work, and troubleshooting for Dutch rail infrastructure, metro network, and rolling stock
  • Perform standby shifts in rotation (1 weekend per month and 1 day per week)
  • Document all completed work and report more complex failures
  • Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Give instructions to operational control personnel, technical personnel, and own employees/colleagues
