Candidates should have experience as a current Sales leader (VP or higher), ideally with a finance organization background, demonstrating significant uplift on renewals outcomes. Alternatively, candidates should be procurement experts with over 10 years of experience on a procurement team at a large bank or financial institution, including experience negotiating against credit and risk data vendors. All candidates must possess strong leadership skills with deep experience in complex commercial environments and strategic customer negotiations, demonstrated success in driving accountability, clarity, and structure in ambiguous spaces, and deep industry knowledge of Experian, its peers, the credit lifecycle, and its products/services. A high executive presence is required to influence senior internal stakeholders and engage directly with C-level customers. Skills in balancing strategic planning with hands-on deal execution, a deep understanding of enterprise deal constructs, value-based selling, and contract management are essential. Experience managing and growing a team with a focus on coaching, performance, and collaboration, along with experience operating in a matrixed organization, is necessary. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is also required.
The Senior Vice President Renewals will lead Experian North America's Renewals team to achieve successful outcomes on the largest and most strategic renewals, driving growth and customer retention. This role involves leading key renewal engagements, driving internal alignment, and conducting customer negotiations. Responsibilities include working directly with senior Experian leadership to support key renewal negotiations and strategy, and collaborating with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to design renewal strategies and deal structures. The role requires improving and scaling operational frameworks, playbooks, and governance for best-in-class renewal execution, and partnering with Sales leadership to develop renewal standards, deal strategies, and commercial term consistency. Establishing and monitoring team KPIs and performance metrics tied to revenue retention and renewal efficiency is also a key responsibility.
