Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, specifically with vendor and professional services agreements including SaaS. Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and managing contracts using Ironclad is required, along with significant experience supporting or partnering with procurement teams and managing vendor documentation intake, routing, and approvals. High-volume contract management experience in dynamic, scaling environments, and experience working in a fully remote company with strong remote communication and self-management skills are also necessary. A basic understanding of commercial contract law, best practices, and risk identification, along with the ability to communicate effectively via video conferencing, is essential. Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, managing competing priorities, and delivering results under pressure is required. Preferred qualifications include technical acumen with Ironclad workflow coding/configuration, background in legal operations with a focus on contract automation and process optimization, familiarity with reviewing agreements involving data use (PII and/or PHI) and identifying data privacy issues, and hands-on experience with Zip procurement software.
The Sr. Contract Manager will review, negotiate, and manage a high volume of agreements, including vendor contracts across SaaS, consulting, event, and other service categories. They will own the end-to-end contract management lifecycle of vendor contracts and MNDAs in Ironclad, including negotiation, redlining, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and escalating with commercial counsel guidance when needed. They will manage MNDAs efficiently and autonomously while partnering closely with procurement, finance, legal, and information security teams to support, align, and coordinate the vendor contracting process, ultimately streamlining the contract intake cycle. They will advise internal clients on contractual risk and policy, serving as a key escalation point for contract-related inquiries. Additionally, they will maintain, enhance, and optimize Ironclad contract workflows and clause templates or playbooks, and ensure accurate contract records, data integrity, and reporting within contract management tools. As a subject matter expert for legal operations, they will focus on process optimization, supporting continued automation and improvements to the contract lifecycle, and foster cross-functional collaboration by operating with high attention to detail and urgency.
