As the Senior Training Specialist, you will design and deliver engaging, learner-focused training programs that support both new hires and existing employees. You’ll play a key role in shaping the learning experience across our organization, ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

Contributions You’ll Make

  • Facilitate virtual training sessions including new hire orientation, technical skills, and product rollouts.
  • Develop and implement interactive, engaging training for new hires and current employees.
  • Design curriculum, job aids, and facilitation materials aligned with training outcomes.
  • Design and develop virtual training curriculum that supports remote learning.
  • Drive learner engagement through effective pacing, discussion facilitation, and participation strategies.
  • Collaborate with business partners to design training solutions and evaluate knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and report classroom performance to stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Gain deep knowledge of Voya’s products, processes, and systems.
  • Manage training logistics including system access, LMS session creation, and content development.
  • Utilize and implement AI tools to enhance instructional design, personalize learning experiences, and streamline content development and delivery.
  • Mentor, support, and contribute to the professional development of trainers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in facilitation.
  • Other assigned duties.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in training delivery and instructional design.
  • Proficiency with the ADDIE model and/or Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating virtual training sessions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and openness to feedback.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with AI-powered learning tools or platforms is a plus.
