Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of previous work experience in organizational learning/training within a virtual setting, be highly self-motivated and directed, demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and finding learning solutions, and possess the ability to work independently and take initiative on projects. They should also be detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable adapting to new processes, and a collaborative team player with excellent presentation and written communication skills, along with effective time management, organization, prioritization, and judgment skills.

Responsibilities

The Learning & Development Specialist will support the implementation and execution of learning programs and initiatives to increase employee engagement and support talent growth, utilizing knowledge of adult learning principles and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and deliver engaging eLearning and instructor-led sessions. They will also serve as a creative problem-solver, assist with employee engagement survey analysis, support leadership development programs, create training aligned with goals, facilitate Harbor’s Academy, maintain industry knowledge, and evaluate training success while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
