About the Role:

KoBold is seeking a Senior Data Science and Engineering Recruiter to spearhead a critical initiative to significantly expand our data science and engineering talent pool. This role is instrumental in attracting and securing top-tier technical talent to maintain our industry-leading position. The Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, sourcing and closing specialized technical candidates for roles such as Applied Scientist, Staff Data Scientist, and Director of Scientific Computing. The position may also involve recruiting for non-technical roles as needed.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing Excellence: Translate deep understanding of job specifications into effective sourcing strategies to build a strong candidate pipeline, measured by conversion rates across interview stages.
  • Innovative Sourcing: Develop creative methods to source candidates beyond traditional channels.
  • Exceptional Candidate Experience: Provide an outstanding experience throughout the hiring process, reflected in low candidate withdrawal rates.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and escalate hiring process issues to senior executives for swift resolution, impacting time-to-fill rates.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Masterfully communicate the compelling value proposition of joining KoBold, including equity opportunities, to drive high offer acceptance rates.
  • Talent Market Expertise: Act as a talent market expert, educating internal staff on market dynamics and recruitment strategies.
  • Strategic Advisory: Advise senior company executives on talent strategy.
  • Pipeline Reporting: Reliably report pipeline performance to stakeholders on a consistent schedule.
  • Hiring Manager Support: Assist hiring managers in prioritizing recruitment efforts across multiple open positions.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of our overarching recruiting processes and philosophies.
  • Offer Coordination: Coordinate offer details with HR, Founders, and hiring managers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience for niche technical talent at top-tier technology companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information, with a proven track record of high intellectual rigor in a professional setting.
  • Exceptional curiosity and a proactive eagerness to learn and explore new approaches.
