A deep understanding of retail trends and consumer behavior, along with experience using merchandising software and data analysis tools, is also required.
The Senior Specialist will conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor offerings, and trends in branded merchandise. They will collaborate with Design, Brand, and Sales teams to develop merchandise that aligns with the Scout brand and drives sales, and create targeted marketing strategies and assets for the website and workshop. This role involves partnering with the Marketing team on merchandise campaigns, selecting and managing vendors to ensure quality and contractual compliance, and monitoring inventory levels using sales data for informed purchasing decisions. The specialist will also prepare and present reports on sales, profitability, and customer engagement, utilizing merchandising software and data analysis tools.
