Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license is required, along with the willingness to be certified as a forklift operator. The role necessitates the ability to travel 80-100% of the time, potentially being away from home for 8-12 days at a time, and requires comfort in leading within a matrixed environment.
The Store Setup Lead will oversee onsite setup projects for new, remodeled, and relocated stores, leading teams of local retail team members and contracted support staff to complete specific segments of the project according to company and department standards. Responsibilities include training team members on merchandising, directing daily assignments, building shelving according to floor plans, and documenting any noncompliance with company policy within 48 hours. The lead must also ensure all plan-o-grams are accurate and correctly built, report and fix any errors, and manage project expenses within guidelines.
