As an OTC Category Manager, you will lead business analysis efforts by providing data-driven insights and analytical support to identify and communicate business opportunities and challenges. You will shape product assortment, pricing, and promotions, build strong supplier and cross-functional relationships, and use market insights to deliver standout value to customers.

Responsibilities

A typical day in this role will include:

  • Develop and implement category strategies, including product assortment, pricing, and promotional initiatives, to drive growth and profitability in Vision Care.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure optimal product availability, quality, and cost.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to guide category decisions and provide insights for innovation and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align category strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor category performance, conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to category budgets, resource allocation decisions, and clearly communicate category strategies and insights to partners and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or High School +13yrs; Assoc. +9yrs; M.S. +2yrs).
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience.
