Senior (5 to 8 years)
Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role, and possess outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. A broad range of experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies like Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric is required, along with hands-on expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python. The ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions and perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks is essential. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred, with a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration being a plus. Experience with GSIs is beneficial but not required.
The Senior Solutions Engineer will work directly with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, and support enterprise Proof of Concepts to close business. Responsibilities include presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, immersing oneself in the industry to understand competitive and complementary technologies, and collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing efforts.
