Position Overview

The Solution Sales Manager will oversee the market success of ServiceNow's [insert specific product line] products. These products are built on our market-leading Service Management platform and create a single source of truth that allows enterprise processes to execute with uniform information.


Responsibilities

  • Support territory strategy and planning to improve vertical agreement, account use case targeting, and execution.
  • Provide input to Account Executives (AEs) during the account planning process based on territory strategy and recommendations.
  • Ensure recommendations to territory strategy and account planning are aligned with Now Value principles.
  • Support customers in envisioning the value of digital transformation and assist in strategy development by partnering with the rest of the account team, customer, and partners.
  • Interlock with Solution Consultants (SC) & Specialist SCs on Capability Roadmaps for feedback and agreement, and team based on the engagement model.
  • Coach AEs, Account Development Representatives (ADRs), and Global Partner Managers (GPCs) with foundational specialty solution area knowledge to identify specialty solution opportunities and help manage the sales cycle.
  • Customize time allocation of responsibilities to the needs of the territory and account team.
  • Champion diversity and belonging to contribute to an open and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of knowledge on return on investment (ROI) of specialty solutions areas to lead solution win.
    • Experience as an Account Executive, or in an alternative sales/customer service role.
    • Extensive experience with Oil and Gas or Utilities.
    • Highly prefer HR SaaS Sales experience.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
    • Understanding of business sales processes.
  • Travel: 30-50% travel required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $123,300 - $203,450 (This is a guideline; individual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.)
  • Variable Compensation: Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
  • Equity: Applicable when applicable.
