Position Overview

Workday is seeking a Senior Services Executive to join our Professional Services organization. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all Professional Services business development activities within the Higher Education market segment. You will be a critical member of the Workday Field Services team, collaborating with Workday Account Executives to drive Workday Subscription sales and Deployment Sales.

About the Role

As a Services Executive within our Higher Education Professional Services organization, you will serve as the primary liaison between the Professional Services team and the Field Sales organization. Your contributions will be integral to the continued growth and success of our Higher Education business unit.

You will leverage your expertise in consulting sales and project delivery to assist Higher Education customers in developing comprehensive plans for successful projects, including resource allocation, timelines, and cost estimations. You will employ effective selling strategies to position Workday's SaaS Solutions and technologies as a cost-effective and modern alternative, becoming proficient in Workday's innovative deployment methodology. Additionally, you will collaborate with Workday ecosystem Partners to support their project planning for our customers and foster their business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage complex Deal Strategies.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position the value of Workday’s innovative deployment methodology and Professional Services.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success teams to determine Services Strategy.
  • Present Workday Customer Services overview and conduct services discovery sessions.
  • Create and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project Plans.
  • Author, manage, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documentation.
  • Actively build and manage mutually beneficial relationships with Workday tier one ecosystem Partners and proactively work with those Partners on strategic pursuits.
  • Assess project team training needs.
