Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership in DevOps and infrastructure projects, a proven track record with CI/CD systems, distributed systems, and developer tooling, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes, and a strong understanding of security best practices in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will lead Infrastructure Development by designing and implementing scalable infrastructure for robot deployment pipelines, building and maintaining systems for automated robot software updates and provisioning, and scaling the multi-cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on robot fleet management and telemetry. They will also own Observability and Reliability by implementing and evolving observability systems, lead Developer Tooling Efforts by building internal tools to improve developer workflows, and drive Security and Compliance by designing and maintaining secure infrastructure systems, including IAM, authentication, and network security. Additionally, the role involves collaborating across the organization to understand technical pain points and advocate for engineering efficiency and reliability through process and platform improvements.
