Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Genetics, or a Master’s or Ph.D. in the same field, and a minimum of four years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, or business development, alongside equivalent laboratory experience and customer-facing skills. Capital equipment sales experience is required, along with a strong foundation in Genetics and Molecular Biology, preferred knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing and Genotyping methods, and deep relationships with decision-makers and researchers in the sequencing and spatial biology community.
The Senior Sales Representative will develop a thorough understanding of Element’s technology, establish and execute strategies to acquire new customers and maintain/grow existing accounts to meet revenue goals, take an analytical approach to problem-solving and solution development, present versatile solutions during customer negotiations, learn and adapt from experiences to improve sales effectiveness, work effectively within a team to generate revenue opportunities, and manage customer relationships post-sale to foster long-term business partnerships.
