Requirements

Candidates should have significant experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Solutions Consultant roles, preferably in SaaS environments, related to data infrastructure, personalization, or real-time systems. Basic skills with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and event streaming with Kafka and Flink are required. Knowledge or experience with cloud data warehouses and/or lakes such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, and ADLS is necessary. Understanding of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure cloud services is needed. Technical proficiency in API integrations, SDKs (especially Python and/or TypeScript), real-time data streaming, and basic familiarity with feature engineering are essential. Working knowledge or a strong desire to learn about LLMs and RAG is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Engineer will partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, identify customer use cases, and drive technical discovery. They will demonstrate Snowplow's capabilities across both CDI and Signals to technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities include leading technical evaluations and Proof of Concepts, guiding customers through Snowplow's behavioral data stack, Signals APIs, SDK integrations, and intervention frameworks. The role involves communicating the business impact of Signals capabilities to stakeholders and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to provide field insights and influence the roadmap. Additionally, they will support broader GTM initiatives by contributing technical thought leadership, collateral, and best practices.
