Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of executing balance sheet products
  • Originate affordable housing balance sheet capital transactions with existing and new clients
  • Negotiate, secure, and structure transactions to align with the Bank’s risk appetite
  • Cross-sell all aspects of financial solutions and bank products to clients
  • Work with a team to obtain and analyze due diligence items
  • Coordinate underwriting and closing processes with clients, internal partners, counsel, etc
  • Partner effectively with Credit Officers, UW Teams, and PMs in connection with credit decisioning and risk mitigation
  • Maintain relationships with high-profile clients and prospects in the affordable housing industry
  • Ensure products and services are delivered with a high level of customer service
  • Prioritize M&T CRA needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects
  • Participate in Industry conferences, meetings, and serve on affordable housing-related boards and committees
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards
  • Complete other related duties as assigned
