Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or information technology, or possess equivalent education and work experience, along with 4-5 years of experience in testing. Professional certifications, such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL, are preferred, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium Web Driver is required, along with familiarity with various testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

The Senior QC Engineer will ensure products are designed, built, and produced according to customer specifications and quality requirements, performing a variety of tests including smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing across different platforms. They will report bugs using tools like DevOps, generate automation scripts, research and utilize testing tools to increase automation, collaborate with QC, development, and business groups, create detailed test cases and review them, deliver test results reports, build project documentation such as user manuals, and participate in the full software development lifecycle. The role also involves conducting static testing, performing UAT and performance testing, mentoring junior engineers, identifying root causes of quality problems, coordinating corrective actions, assisting with performance evaluations, and architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks.
