Candidates should possess 5+ years of direct work experience as a Technical Project Manager, demonstrating strong experience working across teams that span multiple departments. They must also exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, and the capacity to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines. Furthermore, candidates should be able to elicit cooperation from diverse sources, including management, developers, and traders, and have experience with Agile Software Development, along with familiarity with tools like GitLab, Monday.com, and BigQuery. Experience in the financial industry is a plus, though not required.
The Senior Project Manager will plan and execute software development projects with clear timelines and deliverables, engaging in cost/benefit analysis to manage risk and uncertainty. They will monitor project KPIs and ensure projects have defined requirements, milestones, and rollout strategies, while communicating project expectations and updates to stakeholders. This role involves working with executives, handling upward communication, setting project expectations, directing project teams, managing conflicts, reporting project updates to the PMO, and contributing to education on project management best practices. The Senior Project Manager will also actively address challenges and make decisions that drive positive results, taking ownership of both successes and failures.
