Candidates should possess over 6 years of professional experience in channel management, software/services sales, consulting, and business development within cloud software. Essential experience includes working with hyperscalers like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and a proven ability to generate pipeline and bookings through programs such as Marketplace and cloud funding. A strong understanding of Cloud Technology, AI/ML, Data, Analytics, API, and platforms is required, along with the ability to build and implement strategy in a cross-functional environment. Excellent executive selling and business development skills are necessary, including the ability to understand various partner Go-To-Market and organizational models. Candidates must be proficient in designing and presenting business plans, tracking program progress, and documenting program guidelines. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent English communication are also required. Travel between 25% and 50% may be necessary.
The Partner Development Manager will manage the AWS relationship to achieve partnership goals, including customer acquisition and consumption. Responsibilities include supporting partners in go-to-market activities like business planning, pipeline development, QBRs, marketing, and sales enablement. The role involves developing and managing relationships across partner organizations to ensure successful execution of business plans and collaborating with AWS and partners to expand into new strategic areas and industry verticals. Key duties include building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, organizing and executing events with the partner community, pitching Snowflake's partnership value proposition up to C-Level, and ensuring stakeholder alignment on joint account pursuits.
