Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)
Seven (7) years of related experience
One (1) or more years of equivalent industry experience preferred
At least one (1) year of systems engineering experience
Continuous Improvement/Lean Sigma skills and experience (Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desired)

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance to all manufacturing, quality, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate resources to ensure correct priorities are addressed and forecast is attained
Implement programs that improve labor efficiency, on-time delivery, continuous quality improvement, and other corporate or customer requirements
Lead the investigation of production issues to solve problems that would otherwise cause manufacturing delays
Overall responsibility for manufacturing operations, ensuring assembled hardware meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production
Exemplify and hold team accountable to demonstrating Plexus Core Values
Evaluate potential, drive succession planning, and ensure employees receive development and coaching to realize their full potential
Deploy manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to measure progress, identify root causes, production capacity, quality, and staffing issues, and develop/implement corrective action plans
