Experience contributing to department and company-wide strategic initiatives from the perspective of supporting internal technical customers
Experience managing Jobber’s infrastructure budget, AWS deployment, and the interface between systems teams and stream-aligned teams

Responsibilities

Manage Engineering Managers and Individual Contributors to support and develop their skills and careers
Spearhead the Production Engineering Team, including McCloud (Site Reliability), Dev Acceleration, Backend Foundations, AI Foundations, and Trust Engineering Teams
Ensure Jobber scales through performant, stable, and quality software
Balance major priorities and objectives of the department with adapting to change
Roll up sleeves and work on problems with the team
Build tools and platforms that support the success of other engineering teams (e.g., hosting infrastructure on AWS, shared mobile application platform, web and mobile design system)
Serve Jobber’s engineers as internal customers to make them faster and more effective
Report to the Director, Software Engineering
Manage Jobber’s infrastructure budget and AWS deployment
Manage the interface between systems teams and stream-aligned teams to accelerate engineering across Jobber
Work alongside peers from Design, Product Management, and Technical Program Management
